SeeDis
SeeDis is built so your pictures stay yours. It has no accounts, shows no ads, and contains no tracking, analytics, or third-party SDKs. It collects no personal data of any kind — everything it does happens locally on your device.

The short version
There is no server, no sign-in, and no analytics. SeeDis never uploads, transmits, or shares your photos or any information about them. The sections below simply spell that out.
No personal information is gathered, stored off your device, or sold. SeeDis has no user accounts and asks for nothing about you.
No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs. Nothing watches how you use the app.
Previews, visual fingerprints, and face data are all computed and stored locally, in the app's own space on your device.
What SeeDis accesses
SeeDis is a sandboxed app for Mac and iPad. It can only see the folders you explicitly add and, if you grant permission, your Apple Photos library. It uses that access solely to display and organize your images. It never moves, copies, modifies, or deletes your files unless you ask it to (for example, sending a duplicate to the Trash).
If you grant access to Photos, that permission is managed by the operating system and can be revoked at any time in Privacy & Security › Photos — under System Settings on Mac, or Settings on iPad. SeeDis remembers the folders you add using security-scoped bookmarks, stored locally so your browse tree returns the next time you launch the app.
What SeeDis creates
As you browse, SeeDis builds a local index to make searching fast: small thumbnail previews, a visual “fingerprint” of each image, the faces it detects, and any ratings or tags you add. Face detection and grouping run entirely on-device using a model bundled inside the app.
This index lives only in SeeDis's own storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere, and it is yours to remove at any time by deleting the app's data.
Network & third parties
SeeDis does not contact any server to do its work and includes no third-party analytics or advertising services. The only time it touches the network is if you choose to click a link in the app (such as a project or license page), which simply opens that page in your browser — no information about you or your library is sent.
