Videos beside your photos

Videos from your folders and your Apple Photos library share the grid with your pictures, each with its running time on the tile. Open one to play it with the system's own controls — Picture in Picture included — or skim a clip from your folders by moving the pointer across it. Photos only? Switch off “Include Videos”.

Shortcuts & Siri

More than twenty actions for the Shortcuts app — find similar pictures or duplicates, rate, tag, hide, or file pictures into Virtual Folders. On macOS 27 and iPadOS 27 you can also ask Siri to create, open or rename a Virtual Folder in SeeDis, add a picture to one, or search your library.

Peek & preview

On the Mac — or an iPad with a keyboard — hold Space in the grid to see the selected picture or video large, and let go to come straight back. On iPad, touch and hold a thumbnail for a large preview above its menu — videos play in it — and tap the preview to open it full size.
